How Does it Work? EarthCraft certification begins with builder training and education. When EarthCraft projects are in the planning stages blueprints
, site plans and energy dynamics documents are submitted for review. Following a successful review process new construction homes undergo 4 separate inspections during the course of the building process.
EarthCraft Results - In addition to qualifying homes for certain tax credits and creating benefits with mortgage lenders EarthCraft homes provide a sustainable benefit to the neighborhoods where they are built. From materials used in construction to design methods that create operating efficiency and reduce environmental impact EarthCraft certification produces meaningful rewards for home owners, their communities and the environment.
